On the occasion of the anniversary of Wasteland 3, InXile Enternainment has announced the second and final expansion for Wasteland 3, called “Cult of the Holy Detonation”, along with a launch trailer.
In this new expansion, players will travel to Cheyenne Mountain, where they will encounter sects of mutants who worship like a god “The Sacred Detonation”, a nuclear explosion frozen in time. These sects are at war for their different ideas about who should have the favor of the sacred detonation, and we must fight our way through them and ponder what decision to make in this war.
Bethesda has hired the writer of a promising mod
The expansion will also be accompanied by the “Colorado Collection”, which will allow you to acquire Wasteland 3 along with its main DLCs, including the following:
- Wasteland 3.
- The Battle of Steeltown, the first expansion of the title.
- Cult of the Holy Detonation, its second and final expansion.
- Colorado Survival Team, a DLC with a series of equipment items that will make life easier for players who start a new game in this RPG.
Gamescom 2021: Wasteland 3 Expansion Announced, Included on Xbox Game Pass
One big piece of news is that, unlike the occasional DLC and expansion pack that doesn’t make it to Xbox Game Pass, even though the game does, Cult of the Holy Detonation will arrive upon departure to Microsoft’s subscription service.
We will be able to play Wasteland 3 Cult of the Holy Detonation and the Colorado Collection from next October 5, 2021.
