Warren Specter and his team worked on System Shock 3 in 2018 and 2019, but things took a turn in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic. In the Twitter announcement about the acquisition of System Shock by Tencent, OtherSide Entertainment clarifies that they are a small indie team, so it has been a very challenging project for them.
