According to information from Variety, the character of Agnes played by Kathryn Hahn would headline a WandaVision spin-off series.
As can be read in the announcement: “Hahn would reprise the role of Agatha Harkness in the series, which sources describe as a dark comedy, although the exact details of the plot remain under wraps. WandaVision’s lead writer Jac Schaeffer would once again serve as writer and executive producer on the project… As with all projects in development, Marvel Studios is keeping quiet about this one. Representatives for Schaeffer and Hahn also did not immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment. “
Kathryn Hahn as Agnes
Agnes is Wanda and Vision’s strident and nosy neighbor. He knows suburban life very well, and gives Wanda a hand in dealing with the social pressures of Westview. Agnes, a loved one of the extended family, is never too far away. All sitcoms need a nosy neighbor. Agnes is fabulous, raucous and hilarious. She invites herself and wants to know everything about Wanda. Of course, Wanda has no answer to her questions, but she knows how to evade them very well with elegance. These are fun situations and Wanda is relieved and excited to have a friend and an ally in the new city.
Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, WandaVision was the first Marvel Studios series exclusively for the Disney + service. The series is a mix of classic television with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and alongside Olsen and Bettany are Kat Dennings, who reprises her role as Darcy Lewis from Thor and Thor: The Dark World; Randall Park, who reprises his role as Agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and The Wasp; and newcomers Kathryn Hahn, who plays her brave neighbor Agnes, and Teyonah Parris, who plays the grown-up Monica Rambeau, a character first introduced in Captain Marvel.
