In this sense, he indicated that the Secretariat under his charge was devoted to the creation of unique and original products, which strengthen the tourist offer of the 235 places of tourist vocation that exist in the country; For this reason, one of the strategies that was implemented was the Magical Districts of Mexico program.
It should be noted that at the end of 2022, the Historic Center of Chetumal, in Quintana Roo, became the first Magical Neighborhood in Mexico; while in January this designation was granted to the Tlaxcala neighborhood, in San Luis Potosí, a distinction that will promote the integral intervention of the space with urban infrastructure works; and it will benefit from the “Magic Color Routes” program, with the painting of 140 house facades and 20 artistic murals.
