The latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet trailer showcased new Pokémon, confirming the new legendary Koraidon and Miraidon, revealing co-op, and much more. And yet, many Pokémon Scarlet & Violet fans want to see more.
It’s hard to summarize what fans most want to see, but surely more Pokémon, the evolutions of sprigatito, Quaxly and Fuecoco, and the region. As for Sprigatito, there have been some reliable leaks coming from Riddler Khu (one of the trusted leakers in the community) suggesting that Sprigatito from Pokemon Scarlet & Violet it would become bipedal and a Grass/Dark-type.
And now a new leak, not from Khu, seems to corroborate this if it is legit. As you can see above, a new video has surfaced on the internet that appears to show the final evolution of sprigatito. It seems that Sprigatito would evolve and develop more fox-like features, but the green mark on his face becomes more of a mask, while his arms and chest seem to be surrounded by grass-like gloves.
It appears to be a Grass/Dark-type similar to the others. Scarlet & Violet Pokémon leaked, but many think that this video could be fake. And there are a couple of reasons. First of all, the leaks are worth their source, and the source of the video is highly dubious. The leak appears to have originated on 4chan before spreading to other social media platforms, and while stranger things have happened than a leak on 4chan being true, most of the “leaks” that appear there are false.
Others believe that Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s poor video quality, generic animation, low resolution textures, etc., suggest that someone has done it, and that it’s not up to Game Freak’s standards.
Finally, the latest hint that this could be fake comes from Nintendo itself. At the time of this writing, the “leaked” video of Sprigatito has been circulating on the Internet for at least 24 hours, if not more. If it were legitimate and it was Sprigatito’s final form in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, it stands to reason that Nintendo would move quickly to remove it. But it hasn’t yet, and this could be because it’s fake.
