At 37 years of #Return to the futureChristopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox appeared together again as guests at the 2022 New York Comic Con.
They then shared with their fans and talked publicly about their friendship and film career, as well as revealing some details from the set of Back to the Future.
Christopher Lloyd revealed that when he saw Michael J. Fox for the first time, he knew that there would be a great friendship between them: “I didn’t know Michael in person and seeing him I felt an immediate chemistry”revealed while he was with the actor who achieved world fame with his character from Marty McFly of the film that became the highest grossing of 1985 and a classic of science fiction and pop culture.
The actors drew applause, especially the actor Michael J. Fox, who talked and joked during the event, despite the obvious progress of his illness, the #Parkinson’s, of which he did not want to stop saying something.
“Parkinson’s is the gift you keep taking, but it’s a gift, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything… People like Chris have been there for me a lot, and many of you have. It’s not about what I have, it’s about what I’ve been given: the voice to do this and help people.” Fox said thanking everyone who supports the foundation that bears his name, which seeks a cure and improves the quality of life of people who suffer from this disease.
Check here one of the most emotional reunions of recent years.
Doc and Marty always in our ♥️
Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 30 years ago. Today he is 61. In 2020 he left acting, 20 years more than his neurologist predicted. He continues to help thousands of sick people thanks to his foundation. pic.twitter.com/yoTSpTFlfR
