Born from an original idea by Brad Miska, film producer and founder of the multimedia company Bloody Disgustingthe movies of VHS They have become a showcase for some of the most interesting voices in modern horror cinema. Throughout its releases, filmmakers of the stature of Scott Derrickson (Sinister), Adam Wingard (you are next), Ti West (trilogy x) or Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett (Scream VI), to name just a few names.
With an anthological format and independent nature, the films always give us a series of disturbing segments recorded on VHS tapes, which are discovered by unsuspecting viewers. Needless to say, things don’t usually end well for those who dare to look at them.
Unfortunately, legal distribution of these films is practically non-existent in Mexico (and the rest of Latin America). Therefore, take advantage when there is an opportunity to see them in theaters or streaming.
