A year has passed since the events where Venom ended the plans of Riot, Carlton Drake and the Life Foundation, and now he must deal with several fronts, on the one hand face the fact that his ex-fiancé Anne rebuilds his life and on the other he must control a restless symbiote.
Brock becomes a key piece in bringing Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who waits for his moment to be executed, to the corridor of the condemned, a process that from the Ravencroft asylum follows the intern Frances Loius Barrison, who has sonic abilities.
The situation spirals out of control when on a prison visit Kasady attacks Brock, but instead of injuring him, the condemned man is added to a fragment of the symbiote, which later unleashes the horror that only Carnage can bring.
With Carnage wreaking havoc and the police on their trail, only Eddie Brock and his troubled symbiote Venom can stand up to him.
A roller coaster of emotions
This sequel is directed by Andy Serkis, the actor who played Ulysses Klaw in Black Panther, in addition to being in other franchises such as Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes and soon in the new version of Batman.
Although Venom: Let There Be Carnage does not offer an innovative proposal, the performances stand out thanks to the great direction of Andy Serkis, who gave his passion to every important moment of the film, added to the touch of humor that is given to the relationship between Venom and Brock.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a rollercoaster of emotions that brings big doses of adrenaline and fun to fans, who will not be disappointed in this sequel that improves many aspects of its predecessor.
