Just a few hours after DICE uploaded the new Battlefield 2041 trailer to the network, this time focusing on its technical section, Activision He has done the same with the next title in the massive Call of Duty saga. This new video has confirmed various aspects of the technology that the title will display, being one of the most remarkable aspects that Call of Duty: Vanguard will not use ray tracing on any platform.
This confirmation is especially surprising when we consider that its main competitor, Battlefield 2041, does use this technology. And not only that, but previous titles in the Call of Duty saga itself, such as Warzone and Cold War, also use ray tracing for aspects such as their shadows. You can see the trailer below.
