Valorant’s arrival on mobile would be closer than expected.
After about two years since its initial release on PCIt looks like Valorant is almost ready to come to mobile soon too. A leak has been made gameplay of almost 10 minutes of the Riot shooter in its version for smartphonesa platform on which he aspires to become a phenomenon again.
Thanks to DannyIntel’s YouTube channel we can see this first Valorant gameplay on mobile phones that, certainly, feels like a good conversion of the game. On a graphic level, it is not that the Riot game is especially notorious, so there is no hitch in its transition to mobile devices, the biggest difference will be in the control. Touch controls in mobile games will obviously feel much more imprecise than a PC mouse, but it shouldn’t matter too much if the company ends up pairing only mobile gamers against each other.
It seems strange that Valorant has a mobile version ready before a version for consoleswhat would also be in development for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but it is true that in Asia mobile devices represent a huge portion of the market of video games. It is a priority for almost any Asian game to have a mobile version, we see that this same version of Valorant is in Chinese, for example.
Valorant expands
For now no official announcement from Riot about new versions of Valorant other than PC, but it is obvious that the company is already testing the game on mobile devices. There should be an announcement about it sooner rather than later about possible launch or beta of the game on smartphones. Meanwhile, Riot’s shooter continues to triumph on PC thanks to his particular mix between Counter Strike and Overwatch
we will see how it will be given on mobile phones and consoles soon.
