The Local Branch of the District Secretariat for Social Integration has issued a call to the beneficiaries of the vouchers exchangeable for food, with the aim of motivating them to appear at the authorized establishments to exchange them. The vulnerable population has the purpose of aid granted by the Bogota City Hall. Those people who have previously registered will be entitled to a bonus worth $180,000 pesos, which they can exchange by presenting their identification number. Attention!
The deputy director of Social Integration, César Bermúdez, mentioned that “The exchangeable bonds ensure a part of the nutritional needs of the beneficiaries, becoming the contribution of the person with disabilities at home, Social Integration guarantees this subsidy for 2023 and has its human talent in all locations to accompany the people with disabilities in the process
How to register for the Food Bonus?
The Mayor’s Office of Bogotá has provided the information required to carry out the corresponding procedure, in case you belong to the priority population that receives this aid and do not know how to request it. In order to access this modality, interested persons must first go to the local sub-directorate of Social Integration corresponding to their place of residence, in order to carry out the targeting and registration process.
After this, they will be required to present the following documents: medical certificate of disability or clinical history, identity documents of all the members of the family group and a public receipt of the aqueduct service that certifies the residence in the place.
How long will the Food Bonus be delivered?
Recipients should go to the nearest service points, located in the following locations: Usaquén, Chapinero, Santa Fe, San Cristóbal, Usme, Tunjuelito, Bosa, Kennedy, Fontibón, Engativá, Suba, Barrios Unidos, Teusaquillo, Los Mártires, Antonio Nariño, Puente Aranda, La Candelaria, Rafael Uribe Uribe, Ciudad Bolívar and Sumapaz, from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Sunday.
The Colsubsidio or Jumbo-Metro supermarkets, located in the beneficiary’s town of residence, will be available to collect this aid from the Bogotá Mayor’s Office, intended for the vulnerable population, until Tuesday, February 28.
How many people will benefit from the Food Bond?
It is estimated that more than 12,000 families will benefit from this initiative provided by the District Administration, which is aimed at homes that include people with disabilities, as well as their caregivers. Previously registered persons will receive a $180,000 bonus that can be exchanged using the beneficiary’s identification number.
