FITUR 2023 was held from January 18 to 22 at the IFEMA venue in Madrid, Spain, with the aim of encouraging the arrival of international tourists to Mexico. The national delegation was made up of 275 people and included representatives of the three levels of government, directors of companies and associations, and tourism service providers.
Of course, Oaxaca, one of the states with the greatest cultural and natural wealth, was present. To publicize its wonders, mezcal tastings were held, a traditional drink from Oaxaca and Mexico; samples of ancestral Oaxacan gastronomy, one of the richest and most diverse in our country; exhibitions of graphic arts, ceramics and music; and the presentation of audiovisual material from iconic destinations such as Oaxaca capital, Puerto Escondido, Bahías de Huatulco, among others.
