Roller Champions is a free-to-play sports game that proposes a new type of competition based on skating. Roller Champions arrived on May 25 and is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. According to journalist and insider Jeff Grubb, Ubisoft is about to cancel Roller Champions.

During the last broadcast of The XboxEra Podcast, Jeff Grubb said that one of his sources assures that Roller Champions will be canceled once its third season ends, which has not yet been announced. Roller Champions is currently in its second season called Disco Fever, which began on June 21.
The first season of Roller Champions was called the Kickoff Season, it started on the day of its launch and it only lasted a month, but we don’t know when the current season of the game will end.
Roller Champions is a game developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the developers of Watch Dogs, For Honor and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, but it’s not their first free-to-play experience, as they also developed Hyper Scape. Hyper Scape was a free-to-play battle royale from Ubisoft that hit the market in 2020 but closed its servers this year.
Jeff Grubb recently said that Ubisoft is working on a Tom Clancy’s The Division battle royale, as the company seems to be very interested in having a successful free-to-play game in its catalog.
