In recent years, Ubisoft has had a somewhat erratic release schedule, with numerous and inexplicable delays for games like Rainbow Six Extraction, which finally went on sale this early 2022. Although no dates have been specified, the French company has revealed the games it hopes to release for the next fiscal year, and there are quite a few.
“In line with Ubisoft’s commitment to significantly expand its offering, the upcoming fiscal year will notably include releases of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Skull & Bonesas well as more exciting games”, assures Ubisoft through its latest financial report Posted in the last few hours. The next fiscal year corresponds to the months between April 2022 and March 2023.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora seems to be the most ambitious game in Ubisoft’s line of releases, but we have barely been able to see a CGI. It is expected that it will be one of the games that will leave in early 2023. Similarly, although in principle it is still scheduled for this year, the latest rumors suggest that Mario + Rabbids: Spark of Hope would have been delayed to 2023.
Skull & Bones, meanwhile, feels like Ubisoft’s never-ending story. After countless reboots and delays, this game of ships and pirates would have already cost more than 120 million dollars and 8 years of development. Apart from numerous controversies about the behavior of the workers of Ubisoft Singapore. Ubisoft suggested last year that Skull & Bones would arrive in fiscal year 2023, but it seems like it may have moved its plans forward a few months.
So far the games that Ubisoft hopes to launch for the next 14 months, but the French company has a few other titles pending to reach the market.
