U2 Bono gives concert at kyiv metro station in Ukraine
The concert was held from one of the main platforms of the kyiv metro, capital of Ukraine, the Irishman, along with guitarist The Edge, performed several classics of the band, which is why those attending the metro were able to listen to songs such as “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, or With or without you”, among others. During his presentation, Bono addressed the audience and stated:
“The people of Ukraine are not only fighting for their own freedom, they are fighting for all of us who love freedom.”
Similarly, during the concert that took place, the Irishman made statements about the war conflict that his country has been facing for years against the growing controversies and dilemmas that have developed with its British neighbor, to which I declare “We pray that they will soon enjoy a little of this peace.”

Although unexpected, Bono’s performance has generated various reactions within the digital community, this is because, as the Irish singer is well known, has always been a participant in various social struggles, so his performance during a war conflict, gender different postures.
