From now on, it will be much easier to share Twitter tweets directly on Instagram Stories and Snapchat, as a native integration will be added. A more comfortable and better-finished system than the usual trick of taking a screenshot of the tweets that we want to upload to Stories.
This novelty is already available with Snapchat for iOS, and in the future, it will be incorporated into Android. However, the most desired function will still take a while, and the integration between Twitter and Instagram Stories will be launched somewhat later, without a specific date.
Twitter will first do tests with some Instagram users on the iPhone, and if they go well we imagine that soon everyone will receive it. Fleets, the Stories of Twitter, was recently launched, so the microblogging social network seems to be betting heavily on this format.
Although the option has not yet been activated, we do know the steps to share tweets in Stories. We have to do it from a mobile, which has the Twitter and Instagram applications installed, following this example:
- In the tweet that we want to share, which should not be private, we will go to the icon with an arrow pointing up to start the process:
- In the menu that opens, the options for Snap Camera and Instagram Stories will appear if we have the applications installed on the mobile:
- The tweet will open in an Instagram Story (or on Snapchat) as an element that we can move or resize. In addition, we have access to all the usual possibilities of Stories, including stickers, GIFs, adding text or surveys.
- Once the design is to our liking, we will click on “Send to…” and we will choose, as always, whether to send it to the public Stories, to a private contact, to the group Stories or only to the list of best friends on Instagram:
The ability to share tweets natively on Instagram is very interesting , as it will incorporate the diversity of Twitter content into the Stories, hopefully without affecting the health of the photography social network community. Hopefully the option is activated soon and we can all enjoy it regardless of the operating system of our mobile.
