Square Enix has published the Life is Strange: True Colors first gameplay, a title developed by Deck Nine Games and will be published in less than a month. In this first look at real gameplay, you can see a part of the title in which its protagonist Alex takes a walk through the record store in Haven Springs. In addition to exploring the place and searching for records, the character meets two potential new friends along the way.
As expected, the first Life is Strange: True Colors gameplay has shown that the title will look better than previous installments in the series. Likewise, it should be remembered that the game will arrive in full, that is, without waiting to enjoy each of the chapters that make up its story. Looking very promising, the title story will begin by showing how Alex Chen he has always concealed his curse: a supernatural ability to feel, absorb and manipulate the intense feelings of others, which he perceives as colored auras.
After the supposedly accidental death of his brother, Alex must learn to control his power to discover the truth and the dark secrets that a small town hides, a premise totally assimilated to the Life is Strange saga.
Life is Strange: True Colors will be released next September, 10th Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Stadia. The title will also arrive on Nintendo Switch, although its launch has been delayed. The game will feature a DLC called Wavelengths which will involve an additional story, will be available on September 30, and will be “free” for those who purchase the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the full game. Those who buy the latter will also have full access to Life is Strange: Remastered Collection, the remastering of Life is Strange and Before the Storm.
