The world cup trophy of the FIFA Qatar 2022 visited™ Mexico City, as part of the Trophy Tours that Coke organized, to visit the countries classified to the fair, with a unique experience attended by lucky fans to win a pass to be photographed with the historic award; public and authorities, including the Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum and the president of Coca-Cola Mexico, Roberto Mercadé.

The experience of Coca-Cola Trophy Tour It began on Sunday, October 16 at Utopía Meyehualco, Iztapalapa, where lucky fans obtained tickets through dynamics shared by the brand, in order to enter a complete experience divided into different areas with recreational activities.
“Mexico is the first country in the Americas to receive the Cup and Mexico City is the first city to receive it; for us it is a great pride”, said Roberto Mercadé.
As part of this important experience, soccer lovers were able to take snapshots, test their sports knowledge on the “Avenida del Trofeo” and go to giant tents, where summaries of classic World Cup matches were broadcast on giant screens, they played “cascaritas” and were able to take 360-degree photographs in a huge ball, so that they would not forget the experience, which began in the cabin of the Coca-Cola plane, which emulates the ship in which the famous Trophy is transported.
We witnessed areas such as the “Rífate por la Copa Zone”, where there were target shooting activities kicking balls, where parents spread their excitement for football to their children.
There were activities for everyone, in the giant foosball, the Head of Government showed her World Cup skills trying to score goals on the fields of the fun game. Children and adults enjoyed the “Guess Who” activation with Panini prints, where Sheinbaum also surprised visitors.
Another area was the Challenge Zone, where four fields were ready to receive the participants and play matches. The event also had an important Sponsors Zone, where brands such as Coca-Cola in your home, were ready to have a pleasant time for both the general public and the lucky visitors who gathered in the park to the east of the Mexico City.
The star area of this important activation was the Trophy Room, where Mexicans passionate about soccer were able to enter and meet in person the Trophy of five kilos of solid gold, which has recognized the best soccer teams in the world.

The experience of the Trophy Tour that Coca-Cola brought to Mexico, allowed fans to get closer to a World symbol, which has been in the hands of stars such as Zinedine Zidane, Kylian Mbappé, Pelé or Diego Armando Maradona. This is a recognition that Coca-Cola made to the Mexican soccer fans, it managed to bring together fans and authorities, with whom it teamed up to generate an unparalleled World Cup experience.
