Good news arrives for all the fans of the humanoid typhoon, since Vash the Stampede will return with a new anime series for next year, because in Trigun Stampedewill be the name of the new anime where Vash will continue his adventures trying to survive.
You see, it was revealed yesterday, that this anime series scheduled to be produced by Studio Orange from Beastars, Black Bullet, and Godzilla Singular Point, to name a few, the series will air simultaneously on Crunchyroll and the Anime Expo This year is scheduled to have more information on the return of the man whose head costs $60 billion dollars, so his journey to survive while making sure he never takes a life.
And it is that, Trigun, first arrived on the scene as a manga in 1995, with the anime adaptation that arrived in 1998 from Studio Madhouse, and although the franchise would eventually return to the world of anime thanks to 2010’s Trigun: Badlands Rumble, an original movie that brought back Vash and company, it’s been some time since we’ve seen the light-hearted gunslinger on his own TV series.
So within Anime Expo it will have a panel of its own to celebrate the upcoming series, confirming some of the creative minds that will be working on the new series, including Kouji Tajima (Designer), Kiyotaka Waki (Producer, Orange), Yoshihiro Watanabe (Producer, Orange) and Katsuhiro Takei (Producer, Toho), the panel itself will take place on July 3 as part of “Orange Presents: Studio Panel,” and its creator, Yasuhiro Nightow, will also be in attendance to help promote the long-awaited return of Vash the Stampede.
Among the details of this new Trigun anime story, they are still secret, as they have not been revealed, but Vash fans are already celebrating his big return, but they might still wonder if this will be a series very similar to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and/or Hellsing Ultimate, which stayed closer to the printed page of the manga.
