The National Seismological Service (SSN) is a Mexican institution in charge of monitoring and studying seismic activity in Mexico and its surroundings. It was founded in 1910 and operates under the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The SSN is one of the organizations responsible for collecting data on earthquakes and earthquakes in the country, as well as providing relevant information for the mitigation of seismic risks in the territory.
