On March 27, 1877, Mexico trembled on a large scale and this has been, until now, the strongest earthquake in history. Around 11:00 a.m., the epicenter was the coasts of Oaxaca and an 8.6 magnitude impact caused great damage in this country that did not know how to react to such an unexpected event.
