A new edition of the CULTIVA Program is launched, an initiative in which young professionals installed for the first time in the agricultural activity as farm managers on the same or later than January 1, 2016 and who were less than 41 years old, will be able to participate. years at the time of their incorporation into the sector, with priority for the most recently installed youth, women farmers and ranchers and those who have not participated in last year’s program.
The training stays will begin to take place in the fourth quarter of this year and will run until March 31, 2022. Training stays for young farmers
In this sense, in the next few days the application period for subsidies will be opened for representative national entities linked to the agricultural sector for the organization of these training stays in model farms, which will have twenty working days to present their request from the publication of the extract of the call in the BOE.
Agricultural professional organizations of a general nature and state level may participate, as well as any entity, association or representative organization of the agricultural and / or livestock sectors of a national non-profit spirit, entities that will be in charge of identifying the host model farms and design the stays and training programs, as well as preparing, managing and logistically coordinating the stays. To do this, they must accompany their application with a plan of training stays with the set of host model farms and the stays programmed in each of them.
The plan is supra-autonomous in nature and guarantees the presence of farms headed by women. In addition, all host farms will have to be linked to the entity that presents them and be exemplary from the point of view of innovation, production means, business model or social, environmental or climatic characteristics.
