Toys For Bob is an Activision Blizzard studio known for delivering the Crash Bandicoot remake trilogy and Crash 4: It’s About Time!, but they were put to work on Call of Duty after this release. It’s long been said that his talents would be wasted this way, but it seems that Toys For Bob is already working on the next Crash Bandicoot.
During her Xbox Chaturdays podcast, Windows Central’s Jez Corden hinted that she was aware of a new Crash Bandicoot game in development by Toys For Bobs, the studio that gave us Crash 4 and the remake of the original trilogy.

After Jez Corden hinted that a new Crash Bandicoot is in development at Toys For Bob, one of the podcast’s co-hosts, Rand al Thor, predicted that we could see a new Crash Bandicoot game during the Xbox & Game Showcase. Bethesda Games Showcase, to which Jez sarcastically replied, “Where did you get that information, Rand?”
“I didn’t mean to leak it that way”, Corden said later, which would imply that we could actually see a new Crash Bandicoot announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 12 at 10 am PT (12 pm CDMX), and among the games we expect to see are Starfield, Redfall, Forza Motorsport 8 and Perfect Dark.
Xbox and Activision Blizzard reached a purchase agreement but the transaction will end until next year, so in the case of developing a new Crash Bandicoot, it would be done without the intervention of Microsoft.
