Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the MCU, recalled in a video how Chris Hemsworth won him the role of Thor
The Marvel Cinematic Universe would not be understood without two actors who have been fundamental in important roles, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, a casting where physical condition was important.

In a video shared by the official Disney account, Tom Hiddleston revealed how Chris Hemsworth got the role of Thor, a role that Hiddleston himself also sought.
“There was a moment in the training – there was a board, I think in the acrobatics gym, there was like a 1,000 meter thing on the rowing machine, 100 chins, 100 push-ups and 100 squats, and doing it for time … Chris Hemsworth would put his time on the board. And I thought, ‘Okay, I’ll try … I didn’t make it past 15 pull-ups, so that’s why he was cast as Thor.”.
Although Hiddleston did not stay with the role of Thor, the Briton managed to become Loki, who was in six MCU films, as well as his solo series, which will have a second season.
