The NFL star recognized his work and made public his intention to meet him.
Technological Vitalik Buterin did not know the athlete, but he won him over as a fan.
Tom Brady declared himself a fan of Vitalik Buterin after TIME magazine named him “prince of cryptocurrencies”, but he did not expect that the co-founder of Ethereum would not recognize him. A tweet revealed that the tech developer had never heard of the NFL player, who has reportedly closely followed his work on digital cryptography, something he let him know on social media.

Tom Brady, fan of Vitalik Buterin
After the publication of the article, Internet users filled the young technological man with bad comments, who were mocked for his physical resemblance to the American football player. He was compared to Tom Brady so much that the young man had to find out who he was, since he is not a regular in the sport.
“I didn’t even know who Tom Brady was, I had to ask the people around me. My best guess was that it was the actor from Mission: Impossible (Tom Cruise),” Buterin wrote.
And it is that many comments made him bully, calling him “too ugly to be so rich” and said that his face “deserved to be pushed in a locker”.
However, Vitalik Buterin did not respond to the insults that assured him that he was the unattractive and inexperienced version of Brady.
Nearly 24 hours after the Ethereum founder’s post, the NFL star came to his defense of bullying and responded to Buterin being grateful for his contribution in the field of cryptocurrencies, crediting him for making it possible to start his NFT company, Autograph.
“How about Vitalik! You may not know me, but I just wanted to say that I am a huge fan of yours. Thank you for everything you have built in the world of cryptocurrencies, otherwise @Autograph would not have been possible. I hope to meet you one dayyou are the GOAT,” Brady wrote.

Vitalik Buterin is a famous computer programmer born in Russia and raised in Canada, but at 28 years old he already has an estimated 1.5 billion dollars (about 30.54 billion Mexican pesos), since in 2014 he had already founded Ethereum
“One of the decisions I made in 2022 is to try to be more risky and less neutral. I’d rather see Ethereum offend some people than turn into something that doesn’t stand for anything,” Buterin said.
