All the little ones go through a stage in which they become more selective with food. But this can be prevented with time.
In the first three years of life, children form the palate they will have for a lifetime and therefore it is the best stage to instill eating habits and teach them to eat everything.
Over time, most become more selective and define what they like and don’t like. But experts give several recommendations to avoid that you are not a picky child:
Give from six months to one year of age, porridge of all kinds of food.
Do not add salt, sugar or seasonings.
Do not mix them to avoid confusing the flavors.
Do not advance ablactation.
Don’t give fruit before vegetables.
Avoid forcing it when eating.
Never use food as a reward or punishment.
From 13 months, you must integrate it into the family diet.
Find a balance between vegetables and fruits, cereals, tubers and foods of animal origin.
