And you also have to avoid rapid spin and the heat. That is why it is necessary to take a program for delicate garments and cold water in the washing machine, and a slower spin, in order to prevent the fabric from being damaged.

How to wash a down jacket in the washing machine
The down jacket is one of our best allies in winter. When it comes to washing it, it can be complicated because it is a delicate garment, but there are several tips and tricks that must be taken into account to obtain a perfect result.
The feathers, like the synthetic fur garments, must be turned inside out to wash them upside down, in addition to closing the zippers to avoid rubbing or that they get caught in the garment itself. Once inside the washing machine, you have to choose a program of approximately 30 degrees, a suitable detergent and a little softener, with the measure of a cap is enough.
When it comes to drying it, one option is outdoors or in the dryer. In this last option, the recommended time is 1 hour and a half until the down jacket swells so that it is perfect.
