Spin-off in development
Currently, the companies Blumhouse and Atomic Monster are in pre-production of a spin-off project within the franchise. the night of the devilwhich is titled Thread: An Insidious Tale. It features Jeremy Slater (moonknight) in the directing chair, while his cast is led by Mandy Moore (this is us) and Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals). At the moment, it is not clear what place it will occupy chronologically with respect to the rest of the films.
