Artificial intelligence (AI)-based programs are revolutionizing the world of technology, science, medicine and other major sectors such as entertainment. Now, have revealed what Marvel comic book superheroes would look like in real life.

Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Storm, Beast are just some of the hundreds of characters created by the house of ideas, which we have seen both in comics and in animated shows or live-action series and movies.

To show what they would look like as people from Earth, a user of ArtBreeder named vadeyeye9 used AI to create superheroes in a hyper-realistic format, according to Sensacine.

ArtBreeder is an artificial intelligence software that allows the user to create characters without drawing. It will only be necessary to add the image to transform into a portrait, in order to obtain a very original artistic work for free. In addition, it is compatible with landscapes, people and other kinds of representations.

The results show characters like Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, among others, in the flesh, as if they were the actors who played the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The revealed image of Hombre de Hierro resembles a young Robert Downey Jr., while that of the Chap he looks like a beefier version of Chris Evans.

Other results thrown by artificial intelligence to which we can give a thumbs up are the images of Thor and Wolverine. They’re not Chris Hemsworth or Hugh Jackman, but they could be the characters in a live-action movie just fine.

The illustrator seems to be a fan of mutants, because most of the images he shared are of X-Men characters. Storm, Beast, Namor, Psylocke and Quicksilverwith the latter appearing to be a combination of Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
