Although Call of Duty: Warzone continues to receive support and content, including the newly released ‘Season 3 Reloaded’ update, attention is starting to turn to the upcoming Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Leaks related to the sequel to the incredibly successful Call of Duty battle royale games are generating excitement that has been absent for some time.
It is likely that it will be some time before it is officially revealed. Call of Duty: Warzone 2But meanwhile, a prominent leaker has put together an artistic rendering of the full map we’d see in the sequel.
This leak comes from Tom Henderson, who has shared inside information about Call of Duty: Warzone 2 During the last months. However, this may be Henderson’s biggest leak yet. Last week, another leaker shared a digital drawing of a small section of the Map from Warzone 2.
So Henderson seems to have taken that as a challenge, as he has now published the full map from war zone 2. The map is surprisingly well detailed, albeit without roads, but it does show all the points of interest that would be on the supposed new Warzone 2 map.
A remarkable aspect of the map of war zone 2 What Henderson draws attention to is the amount of water in it. There is a large body of water to the south, as well as a river that splits into two directions running from north to south. Henderson says this is because Warzone 2 will allow players to swim for the first time.
Other key areas of the Warzone 2 map are dense areas marked in gray, high verticality marked in dark brown, and a train track that surrounds the map in a large circle. There will be cityscapes, dock areas, industrial areas, a cave system, and a lot of map diversity beyond that. What is not clear is what kind of foliage will be in the areas between POIs in Warzone 2.
Another interesting aspect of the Warzone 2 map that Henderson draws attention to is its size. He says that from the impressions he’s gotten of the Warzone 2 map so far, it “looks bigger” than Verdansk and Caldera. He says that the grid on his map should help make direct comparisons.
