Undoubtedly, the last few years have been very good for fans of horror video games and scary movies, because last year we saw the launch of Resident Evil: Villageone of the best installments in the series, while this year came Evil Dead: The Game, a great tribute to Sam Raimi movies. A fun fan edit published on social networks shows us what a crossover between Evil Dead or Infernal Possession and Resident Evil: Village would look like, as it combines several scenes from Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness with moments from the Capcom video game. Surprisingly, the result is excellent, as several actions by Ash Williams find a similar context in the scenes of Resident Evil: Village.
Ash Williams is the kind of character who wouldn’t hesitate to flirt with Lady Dimitrescu even when the villain has every intention of murdering him, and the edited video reflects that. This video was made by Eli, who posted it on his Youtube channel in April of this year, a month before the release of Evil Dead: The Game.
In my review of Evil Dead: The Game I said that it is a great game even for those who are not fans of the franchise, as it has very well done game mechanics for an asymmetrical 4vs1 multiplayer. It is confirmed that the game will receive more content and although we do not expect a crossover with Resident Evil, now we have an idea of what it could be.
