What we hear can sometimes determine to a large extent our state of mind or our level of concentration. There are people who prefer silence, others music, and there are even those who have become accustomed to certain chaotic sounds of work from home.
Just as there are websites that try to recreate the cafeteria environment, there are others that do it by offering nature escapes, and the one we want to share today is one more of that style. Her name is Rainbow Hunt and she is a rain sound generator to relax or focus.
A little simulation in your browser
The most interesting thing about Rainbow Hunt is perhaps that in addition to offering the listening experience with the sounds of the rain, it also offers an interesting visual experience, since simulate that same rain falling on your window as if it were … a real window.
The web has five controls for the sounds with which you can adjust the volume of the different effects, from the drops falling and touching the ground, to the thunder and lightning. Beneath these it lets you switch between day and night, and also completely stop the rain, which dramatically changes the scene.
If you prefer, this scene also has its own sounds of a completely clear day with the birds in the background. But if your thing is rain, in the side menu there are some additional controls with which you can do things like increase or decrease the number of drops that fall on the window.
You also have a small timer and the option to hide the user interface and leave only the image. The site links to other projects of its creator in which it offers more sounds and also a version of the simulator as native software with additional options but that is paid.
