Chris Evans seems to be excited about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Likewise, the expansion of the MCU since Evans joined the cast has been gigantic. In fact, approximately 11 films are contemplated to be released in the next three years, of which Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the closest to the participation of Chris Evens. Y, now that the new trailer has appeared, the renowned actor has reacted on his social networks.
For context, the sequel to Black Panther will be directed by the director of the first film, Ryan Coogler, due to the commercial success of the original in 2018. So it’s no surprise that expectations for its sequel are high. The last film of the fourth phase, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has had great importance since its objective is to close an era in the MCU, and, specifically, pay homage to the official Black Panther, by Chadwick Bosemanwhose character T’Challa will also be honored in the sequel, after the tragic death of the actor.

Once published by the official account, Chris Evans showed his opinion between the lines by simply leaving a retweet with a reaction. The actor, who in the past had shared the stage with the late Boseman during the filming of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War -in the same ones that he had passed through Wakanda and had their respective interactions with Shuri de Wright-, only added an emoji of a heart on fire, showing that the event filled him with emotion and is waiting for the next movie.
Despite his retirement, Chris Evans continues to support the MCU
As we mentioned, Chris Evans was an essential element in the avengers, since he lasted approximately a decade actively participating in the superhero franchise. On several occasions the actor has clarified the reasons for his departure, although he has also recognized the positive points of Marvel. Among them is a recent tweet in which he reacts to the heated discussion of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, in relation to the loss of virginity of the character in question, to which the actor reacts with three emojis laughing and one more with his mouth closed. Apparently, Evans finds Marvel’s decisions hilarious and wise. In fact, once Steve left the MCU in Avengers: Endgame, his presence has remained intact throughout the Disney+ MCU series, both in humorous references and in more serious events, including The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.
On the other hand, in the cinematographic realm, after Spider-Man: Far from Home contained the loss of Tony Stark (by Robert Downey Jr.) and Black Widow was lenient to the fall Natasha Romanoff (by Scarlet Johannson) , in the next film of Captain America: New World Order it is believed that the production house will maintain a balance in the cast after the absence of Steve and will compensate it with the role of Sam, although that can only be verified once it is released. And, probably, Evans also thinks about it at the time.
There is no doubt that Chris Evans has a strong commitment to the franchise. However, beyond his impeccable work, he is now dedicated to enjoying the content of the MCU like any fan. Plus, now that the MCU is expanding its horizons with a new generation of heroes, it’s certainly emotional that Evans gets to contrast his own characters and stories over time. And with the release of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever he’ll see someone else take over the character and he’s apparently very excited about the idea.
