Months of exciting news are coming in Techland. The company continues to warm up for the launch of Dying Light 2 in early 2022, but they haven’t forgotten about the work that catapulted them to success years ago. The first Dying Light points to a release for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, so it will be necessary to return to kill zombies in a revamped graphic section.
With everything, today Dying Light: Platinum Edition port arrives on Nintendo Switch, a version that combines the main game together with up to four DLC. As usual, The Bit Analyst has made a comparison between the Nintendo laptop and the PS4. Here you have the result.
On Nintendo Switch we find a dynamic resolution ranging from 1080p to 720p, the latter being more common in open areas. When we play in portable mode, the resolution of 720p is the one that is maintained at all times.
Regarding the framerate, the hybrid stabilizes at 30FPS, although it suffers some fall during moments of demand. It is in the drawing distance and in the shadows where the cuts are most appreciated compared to the PS4 version. However, most of the models have the same quality.
In the quality of the textures there are more differences and the ambient occlusion is not permanent on Nintendo Switch. Yes indeed, loading times on the laptop are faster than on PS4, lowering the time by about five seconds.
