Similarly, on June 2, 2024 a vote will be taken to elect 300 deputies with a relative majority and 200 with proportional representation, totaling 629 positions of popular election at the federal level.
To these are added the concurrent elections for governor in 9 states, the elections to renew 31 Congresses of the same number of states; and the votes with which the members of 1,580 city councils, 16 mayoralties in Mexico City, and 24 municipal Boards will be elected.

The National Electoral Institute (INE) anticipates that around 98 million citizens registered on the Nominal List will be able to go to the polls, while the installation of some 170,000 polling stations is planned throughout the country, making this the largest election ever held in our history.
