In Japan, there is an elegant dome-shaped public bath that is not only controlled by voice, but is also capable of playing relaxing music.
The public toilets They are not exactly an example of cleaning due to the huge number of people they receive throughout a day, and more so now with the pandemic where on more than one occasion we have had to put up with not to enter these types of bathrooms, basically because we do not trust at all.
But if you have recently entered a public bathroom, you have surely tried not to touch anything at all, trying to open the door with your shoulder or elbow, and even lifting the toilet seat with your foot. Be that as it may, if you are in Japan it will not be necessary for you to do all this.
And is that this new public toilet domed is part of the project Tokyo Toilet designed by one of the best architects in the country, specifically it is a creation of Kazoo sat, creative director of the advertising agency TBWA / Hakuhodo.
That public toilet in Nanago Dori Park (Shibuya) is controlled, almost entirely, by means of voice commands that you have exposed in a list inside the bathroom and where the most common commands are “open / close door” or “flush the toilet”, among others.
However, there is a really original command where you can ask this smart bathroom to play music, specially designed to stimulate the bowel movement, in case you have great difficulties to relieve yourself.
Moreover, its dome-shaped design has a reason, and it is that by having a 4 m high ceiling, it prevents unpleasant odors from remaining in the lower area of the cubicle, but go to the upper area where they escape to the outside, so that whenever you enter this public bathroom you will be free of bad foreign odors.
You may be reluctant to pay for a public toilet, but particularly if you find one of these features with voice control and a truly innovative design, you may want to give it a try.
