Project Indus could be one of the protagonists of the event
The omission of E3 this 2022 due to its cancellation has upset many fans in the industry who eagerly targeted this event every year to see all the new announcements for next year. Fortunately, although the news is still bitter, we see that the companies are mobilizing to carry out their substitutions and to be able to offer the novelties they have planned at other events. This is the case of Microsoft and Bethesda, who announced that they would hold an event in June to be able to replace the lack of E3. Now, thanks to a rumor, we can know one of the games that could appear during this conference.
Project Indus would be seen on Xbox and Bethesda
It all starts with the project that Oxide Games has been leading for a while: Project Indus. The game was announced as a 4X strategy game (similar to Civilization VI or Endless Space II) coming to PC and Xbox.
The news spread when, via user IdleSloth84, sIt has been discovered that the studio is looking for a Networking Platform Engineer for “A new IP of an AAA game with a publisher of first party“. It is also specified how this title has been in development for years, so its launch would not be far away.
(Confirmed) Oxide Games (Project Indus a 4X strategy game) is working with Microsoft. Job listing states that they are working with a first party publisher on AAA game with Xbox Live SDK/GDK development experience

The user, IdleSloth84, says he feels that “This will be one of the games we could see at the Xbox/Bethesda ‘E3’ show”. Also confirming that it would be a broad game and that it could also be released on Xbox One, being an intergenerational title. In addition to the fact that initially the game is designed to be compatible with the cloud, a most remarkable addition.
At the moment we still have no official information, and we can only speculate on what to expect from this event. Neither Microsoft nor Xbox nor Bethesda have commented on Project Indus and what we can expect from it. We also don’t know anything about the developer, Oxide Games, who announced this project last September 2021. What do you expect from the Xbox and Bethesda event? The option to watch games with Disney licenses has been one of the biggest rumors lately
