The dark mode is a tendency to continue to adopt many apps, from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and more. This time it is the turn of Google Maps, which for now already has this appearance in part of its interface but will soon reach the rest of its menus. Read on and find out what it looks like.
Google Maps is one of the navigation apps most used by many to easily reach an address and be able to move from one place to another. Therefore, the dark mode throughout the application is one of the most requested functions. Everything seems to point to that we will not have to wait long for it, since Maps has already started to go dark.
The dark mode is an incredible option, since the dark colors on the cell phone screen reduce visual fatigue and improve the battery consumption of your device. Remember that you can enjoy this and all your favorite apps by taking advantage of the Gigas offered by your Unlimited Friend with #TelcelLaMejorRed with the best coverage.
Developer Alessandro Paluzzi has posted on Twitter the first screenshots of what the new dark mode of Google Maps looks like on Android. The menus take on the usual Google dark gray in contrast to the almost black gray of the interface.
However, in the images we can see that the maps will remain in clear mode.
For now this function is still under development but we hope it will be included in the next updates of Google Maps and you can use it on your cell phone.
Are you ready to release the new dark mode of Google Maps?
