The JoyMasher company, known for having developed Blazing Chrome, the title that reminded us so much of the first Contra video games, has announced that it is working on a new title that will respond to the name of Vengeful Guardian Moonrider and you can even see in this same news its first official trailer.
Its creators have indicated that they wanted to keep what was good about the game of 90’s action platformer, something that is obvious in this first preview with which we cannot help but remember the classic Shinobi for its gameplay. What’s more, it even seems that it will take us back in time with 16-bit graphics.
the plot places us in a future in which an army of super-soldiers has been built as weapons of war, among which is the ninja Moonrider. Despite the fact that it was conceived as a tool to preserve an oppressive state, our protagonist completely rejected that idea and now seeks revenge on those who gave him life.
With an agile gameplay and full of action, we will have modifier chips to customize fighting style and thus choose between different advantages and abilities. Thus throughout eight levels in which encounters against final bosses will not be lacking until ending this evil regime.
Vengeful Guardian Moonrider is scheduled to go on sale sometime this fall and it will be on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and will also be available on Amazon Luna.
