Tinder has announced that it is making available to its desktop users the one baptized as “work mode”. This version, created thinking that you can use it while you are in the office, offers a function that allows you to hide what you are doing, so that you can meet interesting people during your office hours, without colleagues or bosses finding out that this is going.
This function was already available in 2017 and its relaunch, just with the return to the routine after the break of the holidays, remind us that, although we have come to believe that the pandemic brought us teleworking to stay, many companies have decided that they prefer the traditional method of face-to-face work in an office chair.
Tinder’s ‘work mode’ was first launched in 2017, as an option to use the platform from a laptop or PC, with the possibility of hiding the interface when other people approach.
How to access work mode with your PC
First, you have to enter your Tinder account from the PC. Although the “work mode” is incognito, you should know that when you access (at least if you have never entered the app from your computer) it will ask you for different verifications to verify that you are not a robot and it will send you a code to your mobile and another to your email. So you better do all this process from your PC at home, before standing in your office after the summer heat, to prevent everyone from seeing that you think “sneak out” for a while to see people who can attract you online.
When you finally enter your profile, where you will have to agree to give your location because if not, you will not be able to continue browsing. When you enter, you can see candidates to be your future flirt and, if someone approaches your desk, you can click on an icon of a suitcase located to the left of your name and some graphics will appear as if it were a document of Google.
