Zoro is the unofficial vice-captain of the Straw Hats in his own right.
From the first chapters of the One Piece manga and anime it has been seen that the Straw Hats crew have been Luffy and Zorobeing so that although the rest joined over time, the truth is that all this began because the aspiring king of the pirates helped the pirate hunter, thereby giving one of the longest lasting friendship relationships of these means since many adored this character to the point of making the most realistic cosplay of Zoro.
Now, while it is true that Zoro has had a great role in the whole playthe truth is that his role within the crew has always been somewhat ambiguous officially, since, despite the fact that he does not have the appointment as such, it is seen from a league away that Zoro is the vice-captain of the Straw Hats.thereby giving rise to the fact that even when Luffy is involved, he is always the one who maintains control, especially knowing the recklessness of the rubber boy.
Zoro has earned to be the vice-captain of the Straw Hats
And it must be said that Zoro’s role in the crew is not based on the simple fact of being the first member to join, since seniority does not define youbut rather it is his attitude since he is in charge of take care of everyone and keep a cool head in the most tense situations. And you can see that Zoro’s importance goes further.
An example of this is seen in the Thriller Bark arc, where he is willing to sacrifice his life for Luffy’sshowing great loyalty to him by saying that his dream of be the best swordsman in the world, a goal that gains strength in the event that Luffy accomplishes his goal, is nothing compared to his captain’s dream. And this is just one example of many by which we are shown these two characters with a similar relationship as Gol D. Roger and Rayleigh.
In this way, with a new Zoro reward on the table, it remains to be seen if the character will achieve his goal in these coming years.
