However, the plans for its construction did not materialize because the file was lost, which made it impossible to continue with the procedures.
It was not until the year of 1895, when CMStewart, on behalf of a real estate company, presented a course to the city council for the construction of the colony.
Subsequently, the conditions were accepted to place it between the Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas, Cuauhtémoc avenue, Chapultepec avenue, and next to the Historic Center. Although he would be known as “Hidalgo colony“.

Historical buildings

Another of the historic buildings is the one that houses the Hotel Posada del Sol. This property was built in the 40s.
