These five autonomous robots are equipped with advanced technology, including cameras, radar and ultrasound sensors, which allow them to recognize and locate themselves with full precision in real time, even in complex urban environments. Besides, they are fully electric which makes them a solution committed to the environment and in line with the growing demand for more sustainable transport options.
A new, more modern and efficient service
The new home delivery service with Domino’s Pizza robots is already active in the area of Alcobendas, where customers who are placing their order online can opt for the robot service. The order is made by card and customers can follow the path of the robot by gps, during the movement the robot respects the zebra crossings, avoids obstacles and notifies passers-by of its presence through a voice (insert voice), the The customer receives a text message when the robot is about to arrive, with a code to open the door when the order arrives. Once delivered, the robot returns to the store on its own.
