The CUPRA Tavascan is the third model of the new Impulse strategy that has been unveiled, after the unprecedented Terramar and the closest concept car to production of the new electric utility vehicle, the CUPRA UrbanRebel. The electric SUV will arrive in 2024 with a very sporty air and with an avant-garde interior.
We already warned that CUPRA would be more than faithful to the essence of the concept car presented at the last edition of the great Frankfurt Motor Show held in 2019. The Spanish firm presented the CUPRA Tavascan Concept at the great German fair, and today he took advantage of the presentation of the new “Impulse” strategy that will be deployed before 2025 to reveal the production model.
Its first fully electric SUV that will arrive in 2024a more touring alternative to the successful Born, and which retains the features of the conceptual advance from three years ago, with a notable aesthetic influence of the Tavascan Extreme E Concept. The Tavascan provides an important extra dose of sportiness, with a short front in which it presents some new headlights with three cardinal points of LED that will also characterize the new CUPRA models.

Although CUPRA has not shown the back, it has revealed the interior. A true revolution, just as we expected, since it has nothing to do with the CUPRA Born. The dashboard is presented with a unprecedented curved shape, very envelopingreproducing the advanced interior design advanced in the concept, with a large horizontal screen occupying the center console and a minimalist and very high central tunnel with a floating aspect. A more luxurious plus is the 100% electric SUV of the Spanish brand.
The Tavascan is based on the SEM platform, like its equivalents of the Skoda ENYAQ iV Coupé, the Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback and the Volkswagen ID.5, with similar dimensions. In addition, under the bodywork it will have the most powerful and highest capacity battery available today for these electric models, with 77 kWh that will power two electric motors developing a maximum power higher than the 300 CV and with a maximum autonomy of 450 kilometers.
