In the latest release of Genshin Impact, the company stated that the dragon Azhdaha was Teyvat’s most dangerous enemy.
Genshin Impact is a popular free-to-play action game in an open world, which has become an industry benchmark -after its launch in September 2020, available for Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 – thanks to its entertaining anime-based gameplay.
In case you haven’t played it, you should go into context a bit; in it, fans will have to get additional items like characters and weapons through a gacha monetization system. And the story is centered on the world of Tevyat, divided into Seven Nations: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, Snezhnaya and Khaenri’ah, which, to the surprise of many, is inspired by real-world locations. In the meantime, you will be able to explore each of the regions -through various missions- and live the adventures of twin brothers during a war that has changed the destiny of humanity.
The difficulty of Genshin Impact enemies does have a higher
In addition to the fact that the role-playing game continues to update its list of playable characters, it should be mentioned that the existing ones imply a great challenge for the players. Thus, recently Genshin Impact developers released the latest edition of the game’s online newsletter. This report usually contains statistics on the most curious and fun behaviors and experiences of the gaming community. To give you an idea, among the data we can find the number of times that players have drowned or the number of players that have reached the maximum of the weakest swords in the game. However, after this latest post, things seemed to change a bit relative to other editions, as the developers finally decided to share the identity of the most dangerous chief of Teyvat. And very surely you already know who it is: Azhdaha.
Genshin Impact fans have a first look at Azhdaha during the main quest. In the beginning he was just a benevolent old dragon whose friendship with Zhongli was visible, but unfortunately his mind began to distort over time. Once you fight him, he is no longer the protector of the kingdom. Quite the contrary, he wishes to escape from his mountain prison and exact revenge for what the world has done to him. And this dream can come true, because the old dragon has all the strength necessary to achieve it.
Although it is customary for Hoyoverse to reveal the exact numbers of battles, failed attempts and other statistics, in this case it has not published the exact number of players eliminated by the dragon. But what is a fact is that no one is surprised that he is Teyvat’s most dangerous and deadly enemy since he has a wide range of attacks to annihilate his opponents, is immune to invincibility frames and changes elements every time he you fight him.
Thus, Genshin Impact has many difficult weekly bosses, against which it is almost impossible to get out unscathed due to their huge AoE attacks, however, what makes Azhdaha stand out in this category has to do with the following: his elemental attacks reduce your health over time, unless you are protected by a shield. In such a case, Zhongli’s playable character makes the battle more bearable and increases the chances of survival, but leaving him out of the team makes things much more difficult. In fact, even with the best shield, this earth dragon remains one of the biggest challenges in free-to-play.
Of course, there will be some players who try to avoid fighting him at all costs, however, it is not the best decision. As Azhdaha is a weekly boss that contains exclusive buff drops, this means that you need to fight him if you want to max out some characters. For now there are nine who use Azhdaha’s drops to enhance their abilities, including Dori, Ayaka, Yanfei, Eula, Electro Traveler, Yoimiya, Kazuha, Sayu, and Yelan.
Without a doubt, you will have to practice many times before facing him, but it is worth it, since thanks to the skills that you will develop between each battle, you could fight with any enemy that is put in front of you.
