Now, Barry Barroso decided to tell what the most common scam among rappi delivery menespecially for those who are new to the platform.
“An order arrives and, as usual, you go for it, pick up the food or the products that were requested on the platform”begins to narrate the tiktoker, who gives the example of what happened with a Rappi delivery man in Guadalajara.
“This guy went to pick up the products, when the client calls him to mention that he had left a tip included”; however, once the delivery man is on his way to the address, he received a message from the user asking him to make a deposit of 250 pesos to an account and to appear more credible, the customer asks him to save the ticket and send it to him in a certain way.
Once he made the deposit, he received another message from the customer asking him to make another deposit of 250, which he also made and then went directly to the drop-off point. However, when he arrived at the address, it turns out that there is no one.
As reported by Barry Barroso, in this type of case there are users who create fake accounts to defraud delivery men.
