Social networks are not always free anymore (when we talk about free we mean that we give all our information and receive a lot of publicity in exchange for not paying with money). As Google’s YouTube and Amazon’s Twitch have already done, Instagram, one of the social networks of the Meta empire, will now include paid subscriptions, in addition to free content (Facebook already has a similar option available).
At the moment, paid Instagram is in testing mode in the United States, but we already know how the Meta company wants to outline this new modality that, according to the company, it will spread around the world soon.

Pay monthly content creators
In the tests that are being done so far, Instagram content creators will be in charge of setting monthly prices followers who want to access certain content. It is not known if there will be (or not) a minimum and a maximum quota that can be imposed. What is known is that subscribers will have a prominent badge when commenting on the publications of these influencers thanks to payment and also access to direct and exclusive stories.
In other words, the three particularities that users will have to pay for will be to have a badge, be able to see exclusive stories and access direct also exclusive.
Content creators who offer this subscription will have a button where their followers are to unlock all content and can access different videos and stories than the rest of the followers. The accounts that are testing this modality (in case you want to take a look at them) are:
