Marvel’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent years thanks to the creation of the MCU. Superhero movies have catapulted La Casa de las Ideas, along with releases like Marvel’s Spider-Man or Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
For this reason, the development of a Marvel MMO by the creators of DC Universe Online had become one of the most interesting projects for the future. However, publisher Enad Global 7 confirmed that the project had been cancelled, redirecting its efforts to other sectors.
Now, thanks to the portfolio shared by designer Ramiro Galan, we have the first and perhaps only look at the title. We are shown the section character creationwith “an emphasis on rich, vibrant colors with stylistic tones that pay homage to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
Through fifteen images, the comic style so characteristic of the Sony Pictures film can be seen. Four factions were the ones that were going to be able to choose, be it the X-Men, SHIELD, the Avengers or the Fantastic Four. In fact, customization would be one of the key pillars of this section.
Of course, the physical appearance could be chosen along with the clothing and even the character superpowers and embedding it in a comic book cover. All in all, we still have our share of superheroes on the horizon with the arrival of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine.
