And it is that the Chinese company has announced, first for launch in China, its new range of Mi TV 6 OLED televisions It comes with several improvements and a very interesting price in the two sizes in which it will be marketed.
Xiaomi has opted for a design with the minimum possible thickness at only 4.6 mm, causing very narrow bezels offering a huge screen ratio of 97%. For this launch they have worked on a new technology for heat dissipation, so important in these times.
It features professional 10-bit color depth, a 900 nits max brightness, ΔE2 color accuracy, 98.5% P3 color gamut, 1ms grayscale response rate, support for MEMC and an anti blue light filter for eye protection. Unsurprisingly, it supports HDR content with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 + and HLG.
It features a dual channel 12.5W four unit loudspeaker and each channel has its own independent low and high frequency speakers. It has also passed the IMAX Enhanced Audio and Video certification.
In order to do all of the above, he relies on a Mediatek 9638 quad-core processor made up of Cortex A55 cores with a clock frequency of up to 1.6 GHz and powered by a Mali-G52 MC1 graphics processor, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
As we said, it is a new range of televisions that will be marketed in two different sizes: 55 inches and 65 inches. The 55-inch variant will cost about € 750 to change, although the first units to be marketed will cost € 650 to change. As for the larger 65-inch model, it will be launched at approximately € 1000, although first under a limited-time offer of around € 900. These televisions will be available on August 16, first in Chinese territory.
