Last week, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice received a patch next-gen, making the game look so much better than ever. To put this new version to the test, Digital Foundry did an extensive video analysis and everything seems to indicate that this patch works wonders.
This new version was worked by QLOC, the same developer who made the port for Nintendo switch. In the video, Digital Foundry tried the three different game modes (Performance, Resolution and Enriched Mode), and it is clear each of them has its own benefits. Enriched activate ray-tracing, Resolution delivers the best on-screen detail at a rate of 60 frames per second, while Performance It is intended for monitors and televisions with support for 120hz.
In conclusion, Digital Foundry mention that Enriched Mode is the ideal choice for those who prefer quality over everything else, while Resolution is for those looking for a balance between frame rate and the visual section.
